What can you do during the quarantine? (Alexia)

Hello, good morning to all the members of ASOCIDE Murcia Region.

My name is Alexia, this is my sign name and I live in Murcia.

I would like to tell you that I stay at home.

have been at home confined for two weeks and it is a very hard situation.

At the beginning, I watched the television, the news, and all the information regarding the Coronavirus. The more I saw, the more I thought how unpleasant was this situation and I felt this could affect me emotionally.

Then, how did I spend time these two past weeks, maybe a little bit longer? What am I doing?

I especially do housework, like cleaning, general cleaning. I do different things, I also cook, I like baking or cook different kind of sweets. Doing all these activities make me feel better and help me to keep a positive attitude.

I watch the people from the hospitals, the Spanish military police, the army, the nursing professionals… It is amazing how they are supporting Spain as much as they can. I watch them and I feel great, it is wonderful.

On the other hand, there are the Sign Language interpreters who are helping a lot to the deafblind people in everything they need.

I analyse myself and I think I must try to stay strong. I cannot let myself feel down or to have negative thoughts.

We all must try to keep being optimistic and patience. Yes, I am sure about it. We must give our best!

I can do it, you can do it, you all can do it, and we the deafblind community.

I would like to encourage you all to keep doing things.

You can do it! Ok?

I would like to send to all the ASOCIDE from the Autonomous Regions a very big hug to each one of you.

I would also kindly ask you please to take care of yourself.

Finally, I would like to tell you all that you must stay at home, all right?

Big kisses, bye

And you? What do you do to enjoy better the quarantine?
