Last February, 4th, during all the day took place the first meeting of 2017 of the young delegates of the associations, in the ONCE head office in Madrid. The meeting participants were: Raquel Alba, member of ASOCIDE Euskadi ; Elizabeth García, member of ASOCIDE Nacional; Casimiro Ondo, member of ASOCIDE CV and Imane Lachiri, member of ASOCIDE-CATALUNYA.
They caught up with their Autonomous Community youth associations, and work on internal organization, creating the youth action plan for the 2017.
They discussed different projects, among them, the “Diversidad impresa” project, which consists of designing, free of charge and in cooperation with several education centres all over Spain, useful and specific objects for Deafblind people so as to print them using 3D printers. Another topic they dealt with was to detect needs and abilities of young Deafblind people, both members and non-members of FASOCIDE and its associations, so as to promote training activities and employability, and deal with the psychological aspect of acceptance that the Deafblindness entails.
They also made decisions on diverse activities that during this year 2017 will take place, such as the XV Young Deaflbind Camp in Spain, which may very possibly take place in Huesca.
These meetings are possible thanks to the INJUVE support.
