Any deafblind person is able to success with the proper resources.

Today we have special happy news for our community. Carlos Martínez our deafblind peer and friend, has been able to do 755km of the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James) by tandem.

Many of you already know this brave and fighter Deafblind person, who let us astounded on the last celebration of the International Deafblind Day while telling his sport skills as for example climbing and other adventure sports.

This time he surpassed himself doing the Camino de Santiago from Roncesvalles by tandem, doing almost 800km by bicycle. Carlos did this travel with his guide dog and a friend of him who knows Catalan Sign Language. Thanks to his Friends he has been able of finishing the journey, because without a basic communication it could not be possible.

Congratulations to you, our friend! We feel proud of all the success you achieved thanks to your effort and perseverance. We are sure that you will keep bringing us joy and showing to society that we Deafblind people are able to achieve anything with the proper resources.
